NEED
NEED is an independent record label based in Amsterdam. Established in 2020, its founders set out to create a platform that would represent the full spectrum of house music beyond the boundaries of its subgenres. They saw this as a need for the industry, which would become the inspiration for the imprint’s name.
Much like its native city, NEED has a dancefloor focus and welcomes different cultural influences to showcase their styles and sounds. The label is dedicated to supporting both local and international talent, from new to established names.
NEED understands the importance of a progressive approach that covers digital and physical releases, streaming, vinyl, showcases and hostings to make sure great music makes an even greater impact.
